Step-by-Step Recipe
Nagpal’s recipe for the immunity shot includes just three main ingredients: ginger, orange, and amla. Here's how to prepare the shot:
- Take one big piece of ginger – Peel and cut it into chunks.
- Peel one orange – Oranges are rich in Vitamin C, known to boost immunity.
- Peel 3-4 amlas (Indian gooseberries) – Amla is packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C, further enhancing immune function.
- Blend all the ingredients – Add the chopped ginger, orange, and amlas to a blender, along with just enough water to submerge them. Blend the mixture thoroughly.
- Strain the mixture – Strain the blend to remove the pulp and extract the juice.
- Freeze the juice – Pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze the cubes.
Once frozen, these cubes can be stored and used throughout the week. Each morning, simply drop one cube into a cup of hot water, stir, and sip. The result is a warm, immunity-boosting drink that fights inflammation, helps detoxify the body, and supports overall immune function.
